Uses a birthday party event to pronounce some basic words and phrases. The context is easy to understand. The simple songs wait on reinforce the learning. My 2 year old-fashioned watches this and we will probably both learn some Spanish from it. I like that I have the option to honest play the video and skip the exercises because my child isn’t frail enough for the exercises. My complaints are 1) sometimes the accompanying instrumental music is so loud that its hard to hear the words clearly. 2) It would wait on if they would effect the Spanish text up on the shroud (as well as the English, maybe English in smaller text) . That would succor when its hard to hear the pronunciation clearly. 3) The acting is awkward. I’m not sorry I bought it and will probably purchase more in the series, but I do wish that the creators of these things would scrutinize at the product a runt more closely before production because it wouldn’t have been considerable more work to manufacture it grand noteworthy better.

There’s a lot packed into this DVD. The DVD is split into 5 chapters with a specific learning theme. After each scene, the characters review what was taught and then follow up with a song or a DVD game. My kids enjoyed the games, the music and the kooky inviting Chihuahua that jumps in with the human characters. In the past, I had a difficult time getting them to view Spanish with books and CDs but this DVD really had them fervent in learning more.

I ragged to be a diehard Ghost Hunters fan. Well, now that Ghost Hunters are wearisome, aging, and faking evidence, I got fervent again in watching Ghost Adventures. What these three guys enact as far as Dependable evidence, energetic film making, and giving us a more satisfying assist anecdote to each vexed region, is far above and beyond what Ghost Hunters is dredging out these days. I like the intention Zak provokes “only the awful entities” and ultimately gets results. Their reactions to their interactions with the spirit world are superior and fun to discover. These guys are the dependable deal and unlike GH, they weep and rush sometimes, and you know what? So would I!!! That’s why I like them. I appreciate that they bewitch more time to prove us the history of the locations and they are very respectful of the people they interview. It objective adds so great more to the explain and to our experience. Try not to be moved by “Redbone”, the ex-inmate of Moundsville Penitentiary, who couldn’t wait to steal the boys on a tour of the prison after over 20 years of freedom from its walls, only to have to leave in tears when visiting his best friend’s cell and recalling the day of his friend’s abolish in that very cell. VERY touching stuff. Zak, Aaron, and Crop admire what they do and it shows. The episodes are sufficiently creepy and improbable in the evidence they create. You will not be disappointed.

As this is their first season, it’s a shrimp rough around the edges but you can view them beget, become better at presenting their investigations and collecting observable phenomnena. Their enthusiasm for the investigations and finding what is really out there is piquant.

Zak’s aggressive reach to scamper up emotional energy is quite successful at times.

Some of the episodes have some hard proof of paranormal activity – I regain them very attractive, but it’s my field of passion/study also.

When I first saw the DVD mask, I said to myself…oh geez, not another “hentai” anime. Fortunately, I read about the anime and how common philosophize actress – Hayashibara Megumi (Ranma, Video Girl Ai, Slayers, DNA^2, etc.) was doing the divulge of Elle the main character and so, curiosity led me to check this anime out.

The anime is a fantasy meets martial arts type storyline. Elle is the master of the “SHADOW SKILL” (also, her nickname) which is a fighting style that female slaves learned with their feet because their arms were chained. Along the blueprint she is joined by several friends, one is a young man named Gau who learns from Elle.

The action is speedily paced and has its allotment of humor but it also has its fare allotment of violence and a lot of blood.

As for the series, “SHADOW SKILL” is an involving one because it consists of an OAV series and TV episodes. The DVD features three OAV’s combined to acquire one movie and the epilogue features two episodes from what I fill is from the TV series. You’ll watch a noticeable disagreement between the OAV and the TV episodes (and like most anime, most of the time the anime TV series and the OAV series are different) .

The OAV features the adventures of Elle and friends and the epilogue spotlights on Elle and Gau and the relationship between teacher and the stubborn student.

The DVD quality is very nice and the audio sounds favorable via Digital 5.1 but I preferred to glance the Japanese audio track (2 CH) with English subtitles. From what I have heard from the English track, the snort acting was far off from the Japanese version and it wasn’t in the same quality compared to other Manga Entertainment dubs.

As for special features, there is a character info. and photo gallery from the series. Also, a trailer and Palm/Manga Entertainment trailers are included.

All in all, “SHADOW SKILL” is a very intelligent anime. Despite it’s hentai looking DVD hide, this anime is anything but. Judge about it like Slayers, Bastard and a twist of Street Fighter. One can only hope that Manga Entertainment releases the TV series on DVD.

If you are into fighting and fantasy type anime, you may want to check out “SHADOW SKILL”, you won’t be disappointed.

I don’t know which started first, the series or the movie. The Epilogue alone is what made this DVD worthwhile. It is as other reviews described below with vast light and shadowing effects. The action is simply spectacular and will leave the martial artist in you drooling for more. As its name suggests, it takes plot exquisite mighty at the demolish of the Shadow Skill series with Gau and Elle facing each other in combat to notice how noteworthy Gau has grown as a Shadow Skill fighter. There are no words to recount how tall the fight scenes are!

The only downside to this DVD is the actuall movie itself. At first, you can vow it’s Anime style is different from the Epilogue. It’s alright, but as it progresses on, it’s like their funds began to dry up on this project. The Anime progressively looks worse and worse until at one point I state one of the characters was looking like E.T. with her eyes! I couldn’t stand watching any more of it as horrendous as it was looking. THAT and the fact that the movie basically covers the same storyline you can fetch in the t.v. series DVDs (which discover a lot better and are a lot funnier too!) .

But overall this DVD is well worth it for the Epilogue! Don’t bother with watching the other half of the DVD being the movie and go for the t.v. series on DVD instead!

“He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” debuted when I was 11 years ancient. I remember practically running home from school each day so as not to miss a single word. I absolutely loved the daily dose of action in Eternia, and then applying ideas gleaned from the reveal to playing with my action figures.

Even now at 33 years extinct, I unruffled salvage these cartoons to be highly scrumptious. They bring help a lot of fond memories, and the morals taught in them detached have proper today. They’ve held up over time and can be enjoyed by today’s children too.

This collection of the second half of the first season contains one of my well-liked episodes, “The House of Shokoti”. It was the series’ only two-parter that I can choose. Ram Man’s continual butchering of Shokoti’s name, with her finally shouting at him “Shokoti, you fool!” was priceless. The episode also contained a character simply referred to as “Conceal” who never saw a plastic rendition, worthy to my chagrin. He perished at the extinguish of the first half though, so that is probably why. He was peaceful an awesome foe who would have been a welcome addition to my figure lineup.

Among the special features contained in this box status, “Commercial Spots” is mentioned. I can only hope that means the tiny blurbs before and after the commercial breaks featuring Orko. Remember those? There were at least four of them that I can engage. Orko’s head bursting through an orange field saying He-Man would be accurate relieve, then a sad-eyed Orko repairing the hole he had made with tape. Also, Orko quickly whipping off-screen so lickety-split he lost his hat and hide, then his bare arms reaching wait on on-screen to grab them. Plus, Orko spinning in from the distance like a tornado, saying his message, then spinning attend off into the distance in the same tornado-like fashion. One other one was Orko working his magic with the petite sparkles. While I’m ecstatic that they are not included in each episode on the DVD’s, I calm was hoping for the opportunity to give them another peruse in a supplemental fraction. Hopefully they ARE contained here as the item referred to as “Commercial Spots”. I don’t know for obvious.

With all the episodes this region contains, as well as the wealth of bonus materials, this would be a broad engage for anyone wanting something engaging and arresting for their children to peer, or for a child of the 80’s like me who enjoys re-living a allotment of his or her childhood.
